Here’s a Little about me:

I grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley, home of the esteemed Santa Rita Hills AVA. (The movie Sideways was filmed in my hometown, sorry) Being surrounded by booming wine tourism and wine culture gave me a burning curiosity for the wonderful world of wine. Finally in 2021 I dove straight in. I started taking WSET classes in Portland, OR and worked for an online interior design company. (sadly not wine related but a ton of fun) I plan to graduate from the WSET program with a Diploma certification this next year, 2024.

With a sudden change of career in 2022 and a move to Boise, Idaho I worked my first harvest in the cellar. Here, I’ve continued to be a part of the wine-making process from vine to wine and I couldn’t be more grateful for the education throughout. The Snake River Valley has proven to be a fascinating wine region here in Idaho and I’m excited to be a part of it. Fun fact: The Idaho wine area is about the same latitude as the hottest region of Spain and the Bordeaux region of France. Its an area full of diverse varietals!

When I’m not in the cellar or learning about wine, I love to play tennis, go on hikes with my boyfriend and dog; (pictured left), listen to my record collection, and cook up food and wine pairings. My favorite food and wine pairing is oysters and Albariño from Rías Baixas.

I am constantly in awe of the story behind wine and I’m always learning something new.
